An early morning robbery yesterday (Tuesday) and the resulting investigation has led to charges against a 39 year-old Regina male.
Police were dispatched to the area of 15th Avenue and Lorne Street at approximately 5:53 a.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2022. The call indicated a suspicious person in the area, but when police arrived, they were approached by a male who said he’d been robbed at knifepoint. The victim was able to direct police to a suspect who was walking away from the area. Police took the suspect into custody and found several items, including a knife, a few feet away from the suspect. Further investigation led to charges against this individual.
Thirty-nine year-old Bradley Joseph HUNT, of Regina, is facing two charges:
- Robbery, s. 344(1)(b) CC; and
- Uttering Threats, s. 264.1(1)(a) CC.
HUNT made his first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2022.
