A 38 year-old Regina female is facing charges after an incident of alleged dangerous, and impaired, driving yesterday (Tuesday).
On Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at 4:53 a.m., police officers attempted a traffic stop on a green Buick Century at 5th Avenue and Pasqua Street. The driver did not stop, continuing north on Pasqua Street, then making a left turn onto 4th Avenue. The vehicle continued west on 4th, through the intersection at Lewvan Drive, almost striking another vehicle in the process. Officers lost sight of the vehicle at that point. A few minutes later, other officers found the same vehicle, which had stopped after colliding with a fence, at 7th Avenue and Northwest Boulevard. The driver was found to be a suspended driver. Further investigation led to charges.
Thirty-eight year-old Chelsey Ann ULLMAN, of Regina, is charged with:
- Operate conveyance dangerous to public, s. 320.13(1) CC;
- Impaired operation of conveyance by alcohol or drug, s. 320.14(1)(a) CC; and
- Flight from Peace Officer, s. 320.17 CC.
ULLMAN was released on an Undertaking to appear in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on September 12, 2022.
