The Regina Police Service is asking the public for any information that could help solve an assault with a weapon that occurred early this morning.
On Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at approximately 3:00 a.m., police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Albert Street for the report of an injured person. Police arrived and located a 22 year-old male on the sidewalk with injuries consistent with stab wounds. EMS arrived and the male was transported to hospital for treatment for life-threatening wounds.
Although the male was located on the 1600 block of Alberts Street, it is not believed the offense occurred at this location.
