A 31 year-old male has been charged in connection with a robbery at a Regina business on Monday evening.
On Monday, February 7, 2022, at approximately 6:20 pm, police officers were dispatched to a business in the 900 block of Albert Street in response to a robbery in progress. Officers learned that an employee of the business was allegedly threatened by a male wielding a knife. It’s alleged the suspect stole several items from the business. Officers located a person matching the suspect description a short distance away who initially resisted arrest and was eventually taken into custody.
Thirty-one year-old Dwight Charles ASAPACE, of Regina, is charged with:
- Robbery, s. 344(1)(b) CC; and
- Resist Arrest, s.129(a) CC.
ASAPACE is being held for court and will make his first appearance on these charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m., on Tuesday, February 8, 2022.
