11/29/2021: Update: Male has been arrested.
The Regina Police Service is asking the public for their assistance in locating a young male who escaped from open custody.
On Saturday, October 30, 2021, at 7:44 p.m., police received a call from Paul Dojack Youth Centre who was reporting a young male as an escapee.
An eighteen year-old male, left the facility located at 7900 Ritter Avenue at 7:40 p.m.
The male is described as 5’4”, 100 lbs., with black hair, brown eyes, and medium complexion, with a scar on his left shin.
The young male will not be named in keeping with the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Police are making efforts to re-apprehend the individual safely and expediently. Anyone who has information that could assist police in this effort is asked to contact the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
