The Regina Police Service is asking for help from the public in its investigation into a Hit & Run collision that happened this morning, involving a vehicle and a cyclist. This collision occurred at approximately 6:20 a.m. on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at the intersection of Dewdney Avenue East and Fleury Street.
Police were dispatched to the area immediately and learned that a red Dodge Caravan had struck a male cyclist, heading westbound at the intersection of Dewdney East and Fleury Street, and then fled the scene, continuing westbound on Dewdney. The pedestrian, a 35 year-old male, was taken to hospital by EMS with injuries described as serious. Police diverted traffic from the area to preserve, then collect, evidence at the collision scene. At the same time, investigation is underway to locate the suspect vehicle and identify the driver.
