On Saturday, the Saskatchewan Roughriders play host to the Calgary Stampeders in the Riders’ second last at-home contest of the 2021 CFL season. Game time is 5:00 p.m.
The usual traffic restrictions will apply and fans are also being asked to be a little more patient than usual when it comes to entering the stadium. Proof of COVID vaccine (two doses) or a negative COVID test result are required to get into Mosaic Stadium. The Saskatchewan Roughriders will be holding pre-screening opportunities on Friday (between 1:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.) to help speed up the verification process at the gates before game time. Rider fans are asked to follow directions and demonstrate patience with event staff and security. Remember that these measures are in place for everyone’s safety.
Traffic restrictions around Mosaic Stadium will take effect three hours prior to game time, starting at approximately 2:00 p.m. At that time, there will be no vehicle traffic allowed on the 1500, 1600, and 1700 blocks of Elphinstone Street. Access will be limited to Regina Transit buses and local residents only (you may be asked to show that you are a local resident, e.g. home address on identification or correspondence). Fans and motorists will find road closures on:
- 1500 block of Elphinstone Street at Dewdney Avenue;
