A Regina male is facing a charge in relation to loading and discharging a firearm in a place where it is unlawful to do so.
On Monday, September 6, 2021 police were called to a home in the Northwest end of the city. Police attended and found that a firearm had been discharged inside a garage, with the projectile going through the closed garage door from inside to outside. Fortunately, there were no injuries as a result of this incident. The investigation led to a charge against a 23 year-old male.
Twenty-three year-old Slade MASCOTTO, of Regina, is now facing a charge of:
- Loading a firearm in a place it is not legal to be discharged. [CC 86 (2)]
MASCOTTO will make his first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court on October 27, 2021 at 9:30 a.m.
