The Regina Police Service reports a relatively quiet day at QCX in terms of concerns, complaints and investigations. Here is a brief summary of the incidents that required police attention:
- Minor physical altercation (pushing) between two females. Both parties claimed to be victims. No injuries.
- Twelve year-old male located by police on QCX grounds. He was taken home by officers.
- Two more children were found, separated from their family/friends. They were taken to the Missing Children’s Centre.
- There were two reported sightings of a male with bear spray. Police and Security did thorough area checks in both cases. No suspect(s) located. No actual incidents involving bear spray.
The Regina Police Service thanks the public for their patience, cooperation and willingness to report any unusual or suspicious activity. Our officers are assigned to QCX for the purposes of investigating concerns and complaints; deterring suspicious activity by their presence; and responding immediately to emergencies. We also thank our partners at QCX at Evraz Place, including the Regina Exhibition Association Limited, Event Security, and EMS.
