Three people are charged in connection to a robbery occurring on Tuesday, May 4, which was the subject of a previous news release.
On Tuesday, May 4, 2021, police were dispatched to a report of a robbery. Early information suggested an individual had been robbed at gun-point in the 1600 block of Victoria Avenue. It was alleged that the victim was approached by one person on the street, as well as a vehicle with multiple people inside. It was alleged that one of the people inside the vehicle pointed a firearm at the victim and demanded their possessions. The victim was not physically injured. Investigation into the matter led to the identity of two females, who were arrested on May 30, 2021. Investigation led to a third suspect, a 35 year-old male, was arrested on June 10, 2021.
Thirty-five year-old Nicole BIRCHER, and 22 year-old Lonnie Mae Justine LITTLETENT, both of Regina, are jointly charged with Robbery [CC 344(1)(B)]. LITTLETENT is also charged with Fail to Comply [CC 145(5)(A)].
Thirty-five year-old Brett Anthony MAXIE is charged with: Robbery [344(1)(b) CC]; Use of Firearm in the Commission of an Indictable Offence [85(1)9a) CC]; and Breach of Probation [733.1(1) CC].
BIRCHER and LITTLETENT made their first appearance on these charges on May 31, 2021. MAXIE made his first court appearance on his charges on Friday, June 11, 2021, at 9:30 a.m..
