Police Investigate Motor Vehicle Accident On Tower Road
On May 21, 2021 at approximately 4:00 p.m. police were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at Highway #1 and Tower Road. A Chevrolet Equinox was westbound on Highway #1 approaching the intersection at Tower Road when it collided with a line of four motor vehicles slowing down ahead of it for a red light at the intersection. The Chevrolet Equinox collided with a Jeep Cherokee at the back of the line, then spun around missing the third vehicle in line, and collided with a Ford Escape that was stopped behind the lead vehicle.
The driver from the Chevrolet Equinox, a 69 year old female from Qu’Appelle, was transported to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported.
The investigation is ongoing therefore more information may be released at a later date.
