A Regina male is facing charges after a robbery at a business in the 1900 block of Albert Street early this morning – March 16, 2021.
Police were dispatched to the business, shortly after midnight, for a report of a robbery in progress. The caller stated that a man entered the store, tried to go behind the counter and when he was denied access he pulled out a knife.
When officers arrived a few minutes later, the suspect had already left the business. He was located a short distance away and taken into custody without incident. Officers located the alleged weapon on the ground outside of the business.
Forty-two year-old Kyle Jonathan PRATT, of Regina, has been charged with:
- Robbery [CC 344 (1)(B)]
PRATT made his first court appearance on the charge in Provincial Court on March 16, 2021 (this morning) at 9:30 a.m.
