On Monday, March 15, 2021, at approximately 6:35 p.m., police were dispatched to a business on the 2110 block of Anaquod Road for a robbery in progress. Early information suggested a female suspect had approached an adult and a youth in the parking lot of the business, threatened the victims at knifepoint, and stole the victim’s purse and car keys.
When police arrived, the suspect was located in the parking lot and was taken into custody. The stolen purse and car keys were recovered and a knife was located on the ground nearby. The adult and youth victims of the robbery were not physically injured. As a result:
Twenty-four year-old Brittney Coralie SHEWCHUK, of Regina, has been charged with:
ï‚· 2 X Robbery [CC 344 (1)(B)];
ï‚· Fail To Comply With Condition of a Release Order [CC 145 (5)(A)].
SHEWCHUK made her first court appearance on the charges in Provincial Court this morning (Tuesday, March 16, 2021) at 9:30 a.m.
