The Regina Police Service has issued another ticket under the Saskatchewan Public Health Act for disobeying the Public Health Orders on COVID-19. An adult female has been issued a ticket
for $2,800.
On Saturday, January 30, 2021, at approximately 1400 hours the Regina Police Service monitored an event organized to protest the Province’s Public Health Orders issued to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Approximately 50-60 people were in attendance. Police observed apparent violations of the Public Health Order and, after consultation with the Saskatchewan Health Authority, issued one ticket to an adult female.
The event was peaceful and no arrests were made.
