Just before 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 31, 2020 police were dispatched to the 2600 block of Truesdale Drive, for a report of a motor vehicle/pedestrian accident.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) transported an 8 year-old child to hospital. Traffic Services and Forensic Identification processed the accident scene. Investigation indicates that the child was attempting to cross the road when struck by an eastbound vehicle. No charges have been laid at this time.
The child was discharged from hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
