As of 6:20 p.m. this evening (May 7, 2014), the Regina Police Underwater Investigation and Recovery Team confirms that a car, pulled out of Wascana Lake today, is unoccupied. Police Divers searched the vehicle, and the area where it was submerged, and are satisfied that the car was empty when it entered the water. Investigators…

At 8:33 am police were dispatched to 3016 Wascana Marina Road for a report of what appeared to be a vehicle in the lake. Police and Regina Fire and Protective Services are currently at the scene. Police are in the process of calling out members of the Underwater Investigation and Recovery Team.
