Building access for any other purpose, including photography and fingerprinting, must be scheduled in advance and an appointment made with a police member.
The Regina Police Service is committed to continuing to follow strict health guidelines and cleaning policies that will help to protect both RPS staff and the public from the spread of COVID-19.
- Prominent signage will be displayed to ensure proper physical distancing measures and accurately direct the flow of foot traffic to the proper area of the building.
- Plexi-glass dividers have been installed at all counters.
- Lines are labeled and colour-coded with blue for front desk, green for criminal record checks, yellow for evidence management, and red for exit. Wait locations are also labeled and colour-coded to ensure physical distancing. As the interior waiting space is limited, line-ups may extend to the exterior of the building.

In hopes of ensuring safety for our front-line officers, the public may also note changes around service-delivery around non-emergency calls for service. When you call our Communications Centre, be prepared for a few more questions about travel and the health of the occupants of your home. Your information will help to educate our officers about any potential health-risks they may encounter relating to the virus. The info will be provided to front line members who will continue to use proper PPE like masks when needed or at the request of the public.
Thank you for your cooperation. Stay safe!
