The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public to help solve a commercial robbery that happened on Wednesday, June 17th.
Police officers were dispatched to a business in the 1200 block of Park Street after a call reporting a robbery, on June 17, 2020. The victim was working at the business when a female came into the store and walked toward the back, where there was a desk. The suspect allegedly asked for the victim’s phone, which was on the desk and when the victim refused, the suspect pulled out a knife and demanded the phone. It’s alleged the suspect then went to the front of the store, stole a light and then left, walking northbound. The suspect is described as female, about 5’ 2” tall, wearing a black toque, blue jeans and a blue-jean jacket. The suspect had a backpack on her back. At this time, police are still trying to identify the suspect. The business employee was not physically harmed in this incident.
