A 34 year-old male is facing charges including attempted murder after an incident on Tuesday evening.
On Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at approximately 6:15 p.m., police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Queen Street for a report of a weapons offence. When police arrived, they located a female with stab wounds. Her injuries are described as serious, but not life-threatening.
A male suspect was seen walking away from the scene, and was apprehended by police without incident. The male was in possession of a knife. As a result:
Thirty four year-old Justin Robert PELLETIER, of Regina, has been charged with:
• Attempted Murder [CC 239];
• Possession of a Weapon [CC 88].
PELLETIER made his first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court today (June 3, 2020) at 1:30 p.m.
