Two adults: a male and a female, have been charged after a break and enter to a residence on Princess Street, late last week.
At approximately 11:12 a.m. on Friday, May 29, 2020, police officers were dispatched to a home in the 1400 block of Princess Street for a report of a break and enter in progress. The caller reported people breaking into their home, while they were present in the home. As police arrived, a witness indicated the suspects were running from the scene. As some officers went to do an area search, the responding officer remained with the victim and obtained a description of the suspects. A short time later, two individuals matching the suspect descriptions were taken into custody and subsequently charged.
Thirty-three year-old Tyrone WORM, of Regina, has been charged with:
- Break and Enter with Intent to Commit Theft [348(1)(a) CC].
Twenty-five year-old Tia Rae BEAR, of Regina, has been charged with:
- Break and Enter and Commit Theft [348(1)(b) CC]; and
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance (amphetamine) [4(1) CDSA].
Both accused persons made their first appearances on the charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, June 1, 2020.
