The Regina Police Service is seeking a second suspect in an aggravated assault that occurred last night. Another male has already been charged in connection with this incident which sent the 32 year-old victim to hospital with head injuries.
On April 30, 2020, at about 8:50 p.m., police were dispatched to the 1900 block of Scarth Street for a report of a male who’d been assaulted and robbed by two suspects. EMS was also dispatched to the scene for the victim, who had sustained a head injury. Early investigation determined the suspects were on foot, running east on 11th Avenue. A patrol car was able to locate and stop one suspect; the second male continuing running. A canine search of the area was unsuccessful due to an excessive number of pedestrians in the area. Investigators continue to try to locate the second individual. The victim was transported to hospital by EMS and treated for a number of injuries.
Twenty-two year-old Colin Rodney NETMAKER, of Regina, is charged with:
- Aggravated Assault, section 268(1) CC.
NETMAKER made his first court appearance on this charge in Provincial Court at 2:00 p.m. today, Friday, May 1, 2020.
