On Friday, April 24, 2020, the Regina Police Service Drug Unit (RDU), with the assistance of the Crime Reduction Team and the Street Gang Unit, completed a drug trafficking investigation with enforcement action in the City of Regina. A 43 year-old male is facing drug trafficking charges as a result.
CDSA Search warrants were executed on the 1500 block of Athol Street and the 2600 block of Broder Street. As a result of the enforcement action, investigators seized approximately 212 grams of cocaine, $6,900.00 in Canadian Currency, and other evidence related to drug trafficking.
Forty-three year-old James Ryan FRAZER, of Regina, was charged with the following:
- Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking, Section 5(2) CDSA; and
- Possession of Proceeds of Crime exceeding $5000.00, Section 355(a) CC.
FRAZER is scheduled to make his first court appearance on June 30, 2020.
