A 28 year-old Regina man is charged after an incident which occurred Monday mid-evening.
On Monday March 30, 2020, at approximately 8:00p.m., police were dispatched to the area of 1700 block Winnipeg Street for a report of a stabbing. Reportedly, the forty-four year-old victim was at a house in the area when he was stabbed by another male inside the residence.
Police attended and located the victim in the 1700 block of Winnipeg Street. His injuries were consistent with a stab wound. EMS transported the victim to hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police surrounded the residence where the incident was reported to have occurred and apprehended the male suspect.
Twenty-eight year-old Lewis GEORGE is charged with Attempt Murder [CC 238].
He is set to appear in Provincial Court for this charge on March 31, 2020 at 9:30 a.m.
