On Sunday March 30, 2020, at approximately 10:00 p.m., police were dispatched to a business in the 1900 block of Hamilton Street for a report of break and enter in progress.
Police surrounded the business and utilized a canine unit to enter the building and locate the lone male suspect. The suspect was arrested without incident. Consumable items and money from the business were found on the suspect.
Fifty year-old Robert VIRTUE is charged with:
- Fail To Comply With Probation Order [CC 733.1(1)];
- Possession of Break-in Instruments [CC 351(1)]; and
- Break and Enter, Commit Theft [CC 348(1)(B)].
VIRTUE will make his first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m., June 30, 2020.
