The Regina Police Service has charged an eighteen year-old Regina female in relation to a motor vehicle incident which occurred early this morning.
On Sunday March 29, 2020, at approximately 2:00 a.m., a report of a motor vehicle collision was received in the 4200 block of Dewdney Ave. A single vehicle drove into a building at this location. The vehicle had penetrated the brick wall, coming to a stop inside of the building. Police, EMS, and Regina Fire and Protective Services attended the scene. The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle. EMS medically assessed the driver for any potential injury and determined no medical treatment was required.
As a result of the police investigation, eighteen year-old Lexus MONEYBIRD was charged with:
- Impaired Operation of a Conveyance by Alcohol – 320.14(1)(A) CC; and
- Exceed 80 mg of Alcohol within 2 hours of Operating Conveyance – 320.14(1)(B) CC.
Lexus MONEYBIRD will make her first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court on June 2, 2020 at 9:30 a.m.
