On March 12, 2020, the Regina Drug Unit (RDU) completed a drug investigation and enforcement action in the City View area of Regina, SK. A CDSA search warrant was executed resulting in over 400 grams of cocaine, $34,000 currency and a quantity of MDMA being seized.
As a result of the investigation, 23 year-old Chevy DALY, and 22 year-old Tyanna HATLEY were jointly charged with the following drug trafficking and Criminal Code offences:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine) [5(2) CDSA];
- Proceeds of crime over $5000 [355(a) CC]; and
- Possession of a controlled substance (Methylenedioxymethamphetamine) [4(1) CDSA ].
The accused are scheduled to make their first appearance on these charges in Provincial Court in April.
