On Thursday, February 27, 2020, at approximately 12:30 p.m. police were dispatched to a retail business on the 4700 block of Gordon Road for the report of a firearms offence.
A male and female were observed leaving the store without paying for merchandise. When confronted outside the store, the male suspect lifted up his shirt and displayed a firearm tucked into his pant line, and threatened to shoot. The two were then observed entering a nearby condo.
Police arrived, surrounded the condo residence, and called out the occupants. Four people exited, two of which were the male and female suspects in the theft, who were then taken into custody. The merchandise was recovered and the suspect male was arrested and charged. A plastic cap gun was recovered just outside the residence.
