The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, has begun an investigation into the death of a male, who was found critically injured in a residence in the 500 block of Wascana Street early this morning (Friday). The male was pronounced deceased at the scene a short time later.
Police were dispatched to the 500 block of Wascana Street at approximately 1:29 a.m. on Friday, January 24, 2020. Early information indicated there was a male, in a residence at that location, who was injured. Police arrived and immediately requested EMS for an adult male who appeared to be critically injured. Police attempted emergency first aid until EMS arrived. At approximately 1:41 a.m., the male was pronounced deceased. Officers secured the scene and requested additional resources, including the Coroner.
