On January 11, 2020, at approximately 6:30 a.m., police were dispatched to the 300 block of College Avenue East in regards to a weapons offence involving a firearm. Several residents in the area called police after hearing what they believed to be multiple gunshots.
Police attended and located evidence confirming that a firearm was discharged in the area.
No member of the public was injured as a result of the incident. The investigation is in its infancy; therefore more information may be released at a later date.
