The Regina Police Service is conducting an investigation into the robbery of a financial institution and reminding members of the public to contact police if they have information that could help in this case.
This investigation began on Monday, January 6, 2020, just before 10:00 a.m., when police were dispatched to a financial institution in the 2000 block of 11th Avenue (downtown). The information received indicated that a lone male entered the building, approached an employee, and demanded cash. The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled from the building on foot. Fortunately, no one was physically hurt in this incident. The suspect was described as male, thin, about 5’ 6” to 5’ 10” tall, weighing about 165 pounds, wearing a blue toque, dark jacket and glasses. The male also had his face covered.
