The Regina Police Service, working in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners’ Service, is now investigating the death of an adult female, discovered on Sunday, January 5, 2020, as a homicide case. This is the first homicide in Regina in 2020.
This investigation began on Sunday, January 5, 2020, at approximately 11:00 p.m., when police were dispatched to a residence in the 1500 block of Cameron Street for a report of a female who appeared to be deceased. Police and EMS arrived and located an adult female who was confirmed deceased by EMS. Officers secured the scene and requested the Coroner as well as the additional resources of the Major Crimes and Forensic Identification Units.
The deceased person has been identified as 29 year-old Keesha Cree BITTERNOSE, of Regina. Her family has been notified of her death. The investigation is ongoing.
