The Regina Police Service has charged a male after a break and enter that occurred early this morning.
On December 23, 2019 at 1:15 a.m., police were dispatched to a report of a break and enter in progress at a business in the 2400 block of 1st Avenue N. A witness reported that a male suspect had fled toward the 400 block of Smith Street. Patrol members and K9 tracked the suspect and he was located nearby. The male was bitten by the dog and sustained minor injuries.
Investigation revealed that the male had broken into multiple storage lockers at the above address. As a result:
Thirty year-old Craig Jordan MACHISKINIC of Regina has been charged with:
- 4 X Break and Enter and Commit [CC 348(1)(b)]; and
- Possession of Break In Instruments [CC 351(1)].
MACHISKINIC will make his first court appearance on the charges in Provincial Court later today, December 23, 2019, at 2:00 p.m.
