The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public that may help solve an investigation into a firearm offence that occurred on Friday, December 13, 2019.
At approximately 6:00 p.m. on December 13th, police were dispatched to a home in the 300 block of Retallack Street where they located a 35 year-old male who had sustained what appeared to be a gunshot wound to his arm. The victim was transported to hospital. Officers learned that the victim had earlier been walking, northbound, in a park off the 3200 block of Avonhurst Drive. The victim encountered two males walking in the opposite direction; one male was pushing a bike. There was minor physical contact and then a verbal confrontation. At that point, it’s alleged one of the males pulled out a firearm and shot at the victim. Both suspect males fled. The first is described as being about 5’ 9” tall, while the second suspect is about 6’ 2”. Both were described as slim and clad in black.
