On December 13, 2019, at approximately 11:24 p.m. police were dispatched to a motor vehicle collision at the 700 block of McDonald St. Initial investigation indicates that a vehicle struck the back end of a large industrial truck that was stopped south bound at the intersection at Ross Avenue. EMS and RFD attended. The driver of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene. A passenger in the vehicle, a thirty-nine year old male was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. The driver of the truck was uninjured. Next of kin have been notified however the identity of the male will not be released at this time.
There is no more information at this time as the investigation is ongoing.
