The Regina Police Service has arrested a male who was unlawfully at large in the community after failing to return to his residence as required by the conditions of his release. The 26 year-old male is a federal inmate who, having reached his statutory release date, was serving the remainder of his sentence in the community, with conditions.
On October 5th, this individual left his residence in the Heritage neighbourhood and did not return. The same day a Warrant of Apprehension and suspension of his statutory release was issued by Correctional Service of Canada. Since that time, police made attempts to locate him but with no other current addresses for this individual, efforts were unsuccessful. A warrant was requested for Being Unlawfully at Large, section 145(1)(b) of the Criminal Code.
Twenty-six year-old Kenyon Ralph KAY was arrested without incident on Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at approximately 3:30 p.m. KAY made his appearance in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 20th.
