On Friday November 8th, 2019, a male was taken into custody in relation to Regina’s 7th homicide of 2019. As the investigation continued, the individual was subsequently charged for manslaughter.
Sixty year old Douglas James FLETCHER, of Regina is charged with Manslaughter contrary to section 236(B) of the Criminal Code. FLETCHER will make his first appearance in Provincial Court on Tuesday November 12, 2019, at 9:30 am.
The death investigation began with the discovery of a deceased male in the in the late evening of Thursday, November 7th, 2019.
The deceased male will not be named at this time.
