The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service, has begun a death investigation, after responding to a call for service in the 1800 block of St. John Street, at approximately 11:20 p.m., Thursday, November 7, 2019.
At approximately 11:20 p.m., on Thursday November 7, 2019, police were dispatched to the 1800 block of St. John Street for a report of a male that was deceased. EMS was also dispatched and confirmed the male was deceased. Officers secured the scene and requested additional resources including the Coroner, Forensic Identification and Major Crimes. The identity of the deceased person has been confirmed; however, his name will not be released pending further investigation.
At this early stage, many questions remain but additional investigation will add more information to clarify the circumstances of this individual’s death.
