On October 5, 2019 at approximately 0322 am police were dispatched to the 7-11 at 221 Arcola Ave for a report of a robbery. Police conducted an investigation to learn a suspect female and male approached a group of patrons in the parking lot. Suspect female demanded property from one of the males within the group. As a result, the suspect female produced a Conducted Energy Weapon (CEW), commonly referred to a Taser, and assaulted the male victim. The victim was not injured. Both the female and the male suspect fled the scene on foot.
There are no further details to release at this point as the investigation is ongoing at this time.
