On Monday, September 23, 2019, starting at approximately 4:00 p.m., members of the Regina Police Service, along with investigators from Safer Communities and Neighbourhoods (SCAN), conducted enforcement in the following Regina locations:
1400 block Scarth Street,
2800 block Saskatchewan Drive,
2400 block Dewdney Avenue, and
1500 block 11th Avenue.
This enforcement activity was in relation to unlicensed cannabis dispensaries operating in the city of Regina.
Police located and seized illicit cannabis and cannabis products, along with cash and documents related to the sale of illicit cannabis.
Dispensary owners and employees were charged and fined for unlawfully committing offences under the Saskatchewan Cannabis Control Act.
