On Tuesday August 20, 2019 at approximately 2:46 a.m., members of the Regina Police Service responded to a single vehicle accident involving a semi that had occurred on the Ring Road and Argyle Street North. There were no injuries as a result of this accident. East lanes on the Ring Road from Pasqua Street to Albert Street were blocked temporarily to ensure public safety.
The Semi-trailer has since been righted and removed from the accident scene allowing for clear passage of morning traffic. Police are no longer at the accident scene. The cargo that was being carried on the semi-trailer remains in the center median and arrangements are being made to remove the remaining cargo from the scene. This will likely cause a temporary traffic restriction at some point today at that same location.
