(2019-10-28) UPDATE: Missing Jenaya WAPEMOOSE – Victim of Homicide; Two Persons Charged
The Regina Police Service wishes to update the public on the disappearance of 22 year-old Jenaya Mary WAPEMOOSE, of Regina. This case is considered suspicious, based on the evidence gathered in the extensive investigation of her disappearance. To date, Jenaya WAPEMOOSE has not been located.
Twenty-two year-old Jenaya WAPEMOOSE was reported missing to the Regina Police Service on May 7, 2019. A family member reported last seeing her in person on March 10, 2019 and it’s believed others had contact with her as recently as March 27, 2019. Jenaya Mary WAPEMOOSE is described as female, Indigenous, 5’4″, 130 lbs., thin build, with shoulder-length light brown, wavy hair and brown eyes. Noticeable markings include a tattoo of stars on her neck. Photos of Jenaya WAPEMOOSE accompany this news release.
