As the result of subsequent investigation into the activities of two persons charged with drug trafficking and Criminal Code offences after a May 21, 2019, investigation, the Regina Drug Unit (RDU), with the assistance of the Moose Jaw Police Service seized another significant quantity of fentanyl and methamphetamine.
On May 30, 2019, RDU with the assistance of the Moose Jaw Police Service, completed a subsequent investigation relating to 44 year-old Randal Ross ROCHAT of Moose Jaw and 31 year-old Sara Ann MOISIUK of Regina. As a result of the investigation, an additional 247.49 grams of fentanyl and 342.95 grams of methamphetamine were seized.
The total amount of controlled substances and evidence seized during the investigations related to these individuals totalled:
- Over 200 grams of cocaine;
- Over 13 grams of crack cocaine;
- Approximately 1.1 kilograms of methamphetamine;
- 581.23 grams of fentanyl;
- MDMA, also known as Ecstasy;
- $38,665.00 currency; and
- Loaded sawed off shotgun.
