Four people were taken into police custody on the evening of April 17, 2019 as the result of a police investigation involving Patrol officers, detectives and members of the Special Weapons and Tactics and Canine Teams in the 600 block of Garnet Street. The arrest was made without injury to the suspects, members of the public or police.
It’s anticipated there will be criminal charges as the result of this incident; however, there are no other details available for release at this time. The Regina Police Service thanks the public, especially the residents of the 600 block of Garnet Street and surrounding area, for their patience and co-operation in bringing these events to a peaceful conclusion.
