The Regina Police Service executed a planned search warrant this afternoon on a residence in the 1900 block of Athol Street. This planned operation involved the use of Emergency Services teams: Crisis Negotiators, Special Weapons and Tactics, and Canine, as well as Patrol and members of Criminal Investigations.
There were no shots fired during this operation, but residents of the neighbourhood may have heard some loud noise. There is no safety concern for the neighbourhood resulting from today’s search warrant. There will be more information available as this investigation progresses.
