The Regina Police Service Drug Unit (RDU) completed an investigation and enforcement action on Friday, March 8, 2019, into illegal drug trafficking within the City of Regina. Four individuals were arrested and charged as a result.
On March 8, 2019, CDSA search warrants were executed at addresses in the Boot Hill, Albert Park and Lakeview neighbourhoods of Regina. As a result of the enforcement action, two adult males and two adult females are facing charges.
Thirty-nine year-old Michael Stephen PAUL and 40 year-old Christy Michelle DAAE, both of Regina, are jointly charged with: Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine [5(2)CDSA]; and Possession of Proceeds of Crime over $5000. [355(a) CC].
Forty-one year-old Angela Pauline STEFFEN and 39 year-old Devon Shane BREHAUT, both of Regina, are jointly charged with: Possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine [5(2) CDSA]; and
Possession of Proceeds of Crime under $5000 [355(b) CC].
In addition, 39 year-old Devon Shane BREHAUT also received charges for: two counts of Breach of Probation [733.1(1) CC].
All four individuals made their first court appearances on these charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. today: Monday, March 11, 2019.
