On Friday February 15, 2019, a male was taken into custody in relation to Regina’s first homicide of 2019. As the investigation continued, the individual was subsequently charged for the murder.
Thirty-seven-year old Christopher Dillin BRAUN, of Regina is charged with Second-Degree Murder contrary to section 235(1) of the Criminal Code. BRAUN will make his first appearance in Provincial Court on Tuesday February 19, 2019, at 9:30 am.
The death investigation began with the discovery of a deceased male in the early morning hours of Thursday, February 14, 2019.
The deceased male is 27 year-old Morris POITRAS, of Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan.
