Three adults and one youth are facing stolen auto charges after an incident on Wednesday evening.
On February 13, 2019, at approximately 8:45 p.m., police observed a vehicle, which was confirmed to be reported as stolen, driving on the 2000 block of Broder Street. Police observed two female suspects exit the vehicle. The two females were arrested and charged. The vehicle continued driving, and police attempted to stop the vehicle in an alley behind 13th Avenue. Two male suspects exited the vehicle; one male, a youth, was arrested and charged. The second male fled the scene, was located shortly after, and was subsequently arrested and charged. Police are continuing their investigation.
Donovan Dean STRAIGHTNOSE of no fixed address is charged with:
- Possession of property over $5000 [355(A) CC];
- Fail to comply with conditions of undertaking [145(5.1) CC]; and
- Fail to comply with undertaking [145(3) CC].
Jolene MUSQUA of no fixed address is charged with:
- Possession of property over $5000 [355(A) CC]; and
- Fail to comply with undertaking [145(3) CC].
Jennifer Rose MOOSEMAY of Regina is charged with:
- Possession of property over $5000 [355(A) CC]; and
- Fail to comply with undertaking [145(3) CC].
STRAIGHTNOSE, MUSQUA, and MOOSEMAY appeared in Provincial Court for these charges on February 14, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.
The youth cannot be named in accordance with the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act. The youth is charged with Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 [355(A) CC]. The youth appeared in Youth Court for this charge on February 14, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.
