The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, is conducting a death investigation after the discovery of a deceased male, outdoors, this morning (February 14, 2019).
In the early morning hours of Thursday, February 14, 2019, Regina Police Service members attended to a call for service in the 800 block of Montague Street. As police members were conducting their investigation, they discovered the body of an adult male, outdoors. EMS was requested to the scene and confirmed the person to be deceased. Police secured the scene and requested a coroner. Among first priorities in a death investigation: confirmation of the identity of the deceased and notification of his next-of-kin. As these duties are being carried out, police officers and the Coroner are gathering information to better understand the circumstances of this person’s death.
