Three people, two males and a female, are facing charges after a home invasion on Friday afternoon.
On February 1, 2019 at approximately 4:45 p.m., police were dispatched to a residence on the 100 block of Froom Crescent for a report of a break, enter and commit robbery, or home invasion. Three suspects forced their way into the residence and demanded money. The suspects took some property and fled the scene in a vehicle. No one in the residence was injured.
Later the same day, at approximately 9:30 p.m. in the area of Parliament Avenue and Albert Street, police located a vehicle matching the description of the vehicle used in the home invasion. Police approached the vehicle and three occupants were observed inside. Two of the occupants were arrested and charged in relation to the break and enter. The third occupant of the vehicle was arrested on an unrelated matter. Further investigation led to the arrest of the third suspect in the home invasion, on the 200 block of Smith Street. Police located some of the property alleged to have been stolen.
Twenty-three year-old Alex Brian HUTCHINSON of Regina is charged with:
- Break and enter and commit robbery [348(1)(B) CC]; and
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 [355(B) CC].
Twenty-seven year-old Zachary Carl LAWSON of Regina is charged with:
- Break and enter and commit robbery [348(1)(B) CC];
- Disguise with intent [351(2) CC];
- Fail to comply with probation order [733.1(1) CC]; and
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 [355(B) CC].
Nineteen year-old Justine Lonnie Mae LITTLETENT of Regina is charged with:
- Break and enter and commit robbery [348(1)(B) CC];
- Disguise with intent [351(2) CC]; and
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 [355(B) CC].
HUTCHINSON, LAWSON, and LITTLETENT appeared in Provincial Court for these charges on February 4, 2019 at 9:30 a.m.
