The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service, is conducting a death investigation after the discovery of a deceased male.
Police were dispatched at approximately 4:45 p.m., on Friday, December 21, 2018, to the area of the 5000 block of Sherwood Drive for a report of a male who appeared to be deceased. Officers secured the immediate area and requested the additional resources of the Major Crimes and Forensic Identification units, as well as the Coroner.
A number of investigative processes are underway, including identification of the deceased male and notification of his next of kin.
Police are working in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service to fully investigate and clarify the circumstances surrounding this death.
